The old safe of the Valencia Provincial Council

Tarima caixa de cabals
It is a safe possibly manufactured in Marseille in the late eighteenth century with a wooden frame coated in bronze. The design includes floral and geometric motifs and a small bust of Mercury, Roman god of commerce. Access to the content was protected by a triple lock, therefore, only under the presence of three people simultaneously, each with a key, could it be open.
